Who Are We
We are an India-based Single-Family Office that invests proprietary capital across asset classes.
Our Story
The term Indriya means "belonging to Indra, chief deity in the Rig Veda and Lord of the Träyastrimśa heaven hence connoting supremacy, dominance and control, attested in the general meaning of "power, strength" from the Rig Veda.
As per Hindu mythology the God of highest rank was Indra - a warlike god who conquered innumerable human and demon enemies and brought back the sun after it had been stolen, among many other feats. Indriya Capital seeks inspiration from deity Indra's grit and resilience as it invests in entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Seeking inspiration, our core driver is that "Growth is God". A paradox indeed; but, has worked well for us in generating returns.
Indriya also refers to the sensory faculties. These are three divisions - the sense of perception, the sense of action and the inner sense. Keeping this in mind Indriya Capital aims to empower human life as it embraces technological change. To achieve this goal, we are a sector agnostic investment firm whose thesis is purpose and impact driven.

Philanthropy
With Indian roots, "seva" is a critical part of our DNA. Education, healthcare and animal welfare are key causes we support through our NGO partners. We work with NGO partners that have close to 0 administrative costs, thereby ensuring the true beneficiaries get maximum benefit. Over time, we aim to fund transformative scientific research that promotes indigenous innovation. This strategy will aid us to support the larger cause that we aim to promote in India, i.e., economic empowerment.
